No client ID, client secret or private MCP key is needed. Team and Enterprise users may need an owner to add the connector first. Remote connectors in Claude Desktop use the same account connection as Claude web.

Start with what you’re building.

Find banking design references in Reinspro. Show the previews and open the interactive gallery. If there’s no exact dashboard match, label the closest real references clearly.

Claude web & Desktop

Compatible clients can render the MCP Apps gallery inside the conversation. Availability depends on the client version, connection settings and workspace policies. View Claude’s support guide.

Codex

Your agent can open the returned gallery link in a browser panel. A native frame inside the conversation is not guaranteed. Actual image blocks and capture links remain available in search results.

Other clients

MCP Apps clients can use the same portable gallery resource. Clients without app support can show previews and open the browser gallery. A direct native ChatGPT connection has not been verified.

Who can use Reinspro MCP?

MCP access is included with an active paid Reinspro plan. Your account must be enabled and your email verified. If your paid access ends, searches stop until you renew.

Do I need an API key for Claude?

Claude web and Desktop can connect by signing in to Reinspro and approving read-only access. No private key is needed for that connection. Claude Code, Codex, Hermes Agent and OpenClaw can use the private MCP key in your account.

Where does the interactive gallery open?

Compatible Claude web and Desktop clients can show the gallery inside the conversation. Support depends on the client version and workspace settings. In Codex, your agent can open the returned gallery link in a browser panel; an inline MCP Apps frame is not guaranteed.

Why did a preview or gallery link stop working?

Full-image links last five minutes; gallery links and their thumbnails last 15 minutes. Use Refresh results in a connected gallery, or ask your agent for a fresh result if the link has expired. The capture page linked with each result is the durable reference.

Can the agent change my account or billing?

No. Reinspro MCP is a read-only design catalog. It can search references and retrieve their images and metadata. It cannot edit your account, make purchases or change billing.

How do I disconnect an agent?

Disconnect an authorized application in your MCP settings to revoke that connection. Revoke or replace your private key to stop every agent using that key. Key access and account-authorized connections are managed separately.

What if there is no exact design match?

Search uses the catalog’s indexed titles, brands, tags and related terms. It labels nearby references when the exact feature is missing. Ask your agent to show those real previews and explain the gap instead of treating them as an exact match.

Developer reference.

Seven read-only tools are available with an authorized paid account. Search responses include metadata, durable capture links, image content blocks and structuredContent.gallery_url. Start with four results; the maximum is six per page.

OAuth clients use discovery to obtain their own tokens after approval. Reinspro supports dynamically registered public clients, authorization code with PKCE S256 and refresh tokens. The scope is mcp:read; the resource audience is https://reinspro.com/api/mcp.

Authorization server metadata: /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server. Protected resource metadata: /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/api/mcp.

Search uses indexed titles, brands, tags and curated related terms, rather than general semantic search. Flow and UI-element search are unavailable until those catalog items are indexed. Direct call: search_captures with {"query":"banking design","limit":4}. Use a typed search when the request specifies screens, pages or sections.

Gallery troubleshooting

Confirm Reinspro is connected and enabled for the conversation, and the account has verified email and active paid access.
Refresh or reconnect after an update, then start a new conversation to discover current tool metadata.
The search tool advertises ui://reinspro/search-gallery-v2.html. The host reads it with resources/read as text/html;profile=mcp-app. Inspect bridge or CSP errors if the resource loads but remains blank.
If the host has no native app support, open the returned gallery_url. Codex agents can use open_in_codex or the in-app browser. Show the returned image blocks with their detail_url links as well.

Gallery links and thumbnails expire after 15 minutes; full-image URLs expire after five minutes. Refresh results for new links. All temporary links remain subject to token validity and paid-access checks. Repeating a search does not add native frame support to a host.

The catalog requires a verified, enabled account with an active paid plan. MCP access is limited to reading design references; it cannot change account details or billing. Manage private keys and revoke individual authorized connections in your account.

Review the app name and callback domain before approving a connection. Dynamically registered names are not identity verification. Keep keys, OAuth tokens and temporary signed links out of public repositories, screenshots and issues.
